![]() The gameplay is standard action Resident Evil fare, except for the lack of melee hits. You can actually see what's happening, and you don't have to wait every few seconds for the silly simulated eye adaptation to stop fiddling with the luminosity. I feel it's important to note that the game handles brightness much better than Resident Evil 7 did. ![]() It might be because I don't play that many AAA games, but I'm quite impressed by the level of graphical quality. I like both formulas so I'm fine with it, but it's interesting to see how different those two games are. You get the intro with a village filled with monsters, the castle tour, the giant aquatic monster, the hordes of monsters, the merchant of dubious origins seemingly everywhere, the weapon upgrades. This one is Ethan Winters' very own Resident Evil 4. ![]() Resident Evil 7 was clearly a reimagining of the first Resident Evil, with the mansion, the relatively few monsters and the overall scariness. ![]()
